Mohbad’s Death Changed Me – Bella Shmurda

Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has revealed that the death of his close friend and collaborator, Mohbad, deeply transformed his outlook on life.

Speaking during a recent livestream with TikToker Joblaq, Bella Shmurda explained that he is currently in a phase of rediscovery as a result of the tragic loss.

“RIP Mohbad. After he passed away my brain reset, everything changed. The way I see things in life also changed,” he said.

The singer added that he now understands life in a different way, likening his current mindset to the warnings parents often give their children.

“There’s a time our parents used to tell us when we misbehave, ‘Don’t worry, very soon you will understand.’ I’m currently in that phase where I’m starting to understand. I have understood certain things,” he explained.

Mohbad, born Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, died under controversial circumstances on September 12, 2023, sparking widespread outrage and calls for justice.
