TG Omori Laments Nigeria’s Expensive Healthcare
Renowned Nigerian music video director, TG Omori, has raised concerns over the high cost of healthcare in the country, describing it as overwhelming and out of reach for many citizens.
In a post shared on X, Omori disclosed that the money he had spent on medical care within six months could have bought two Mercedes Benz GLEs and a C300, adding that the experience drove home the saying, “health is wealth.”
He went on to highlight the struggles faced by ordinary Nigerians, particularly patients undergoing dialysis, which he said costs over ₦100,000 per session, with some requiring up to three sessions a week — a figure far beyond the nation’s minimum wage of ₦70,000.

Omori admitted that the situation left him emotional during a hospital visit, lamenting that there appears to be “no hope for the common man” under such circumstances.
