Tufab vs Davido: Wizkid’s ally alleges threat to life

Tufab, an associate of singer Wizkid, has accused Davido of threatening him, sparking heated reactions on social media.

The allegation surfaced on Wednesday after Tufab shared screenshots of their exchange in a viral post on X. He claimed Davido sent him intimidating messages, warning the public to hold the singer accountable should anything happen to him.

In the alleged messages, Davido confronted Tufab for supposedly referring to him as “Osakpolo,” a name he found offensive. The singer went on to identify himself as a member of the “Aye” fraternity, while labeling Tufab as a “Bird.” One of the messages read: “My name is not Osakpolo. I’m warning you. Ok, continue. That’s all I will say. You be Bird, I be Aye, make we play the game.”

Tufab, however, denied the accusation, insisting he never used the name and rejecting any association with cult groups. He appealed to Davido to stop issuing threats, stressing that he has never disrespected him.

In his words: “I didn’t even call you that. Please stop warning me, bro. I have never said anything hurtful to you. I am not affiliated with any cult or fraternity. I am only bringing this to the public as a disclaimer. My life is under threat, and if anything happens to me, everyone knows who to hold responsible.”

The revelation has stirred controversy online, with many users criticising Davido over the alleged threats.
