2Face’s in-law wants grandchild on next visit

Philomena Osawaru, mother-in-law to music icon Innocent “2Face” Idibia, has expressed her wish to see a new baby in the family during her next visit to the couple.

She made the remark on Friday at the Idibia residence in Lagos while celebrating the legendary singer’s 50th birthday.

Osawaru praised 2Face for looking youthful at his milestone age and described him as a blessing to the family.

“It’s a joy and delight to have you as my son-in-law. Innocent Idibia, at 50, you look 25. When some of us pray to age gracefully, God has already done it for you. You will continue to age with grace, in Jesus’ name. Amen,” she said.

She then added playfully: “By the time we come next, we want to see a baby crawling around.”
