Burna Boy Tops Spotify Afrobeats Charts for 2025

Streaming giant Spotify has unveiled its list of 2025 Top Afrobeats Artists, with Nigerian stars claiming all top spots.

Burna Boy leads the chart at number one, followed by Rema at number two and Wizkid in third place. Asake and Roc Nation’s newest signee, Ayra Starr, complete the top five.

Notably absent from the ranking is Davido, widely regarded as one of the “Afrobeats Big 3” alongside Wizkid and Burna Boy.

Spotify also highlighted the countries streaming Afrobeats the most in 2025. The United States tops the list, followed by Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Nigeria.

The rankings underscore the global reach of Nigerian Afrobeats, which continues to dominate international music charts.
