Kiddwaya Says He Lives Life, Not Works for It

Former reality TV star Kiddwaya, son of Nigerian billionaire businessman Terry Waya, has stirred reactions after boldly declaring that his “occupation” is enjoying his father’s wealth.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Off The Record podcast, the ex-Big Brother Naija housemate said he lives life purely for enjoyment and has no interest in conventional work or business.

“What I do for a living is that I wake up, decide what destination I want to fly to, I go to that destination, I’m with my boys and girls, and we have fun — we drink, eat, and party. And we repeat,” Kiddwaya said.

Describing himself as a “man of leisure,” he explained that his outlook on life is to live it to the fullest.

“I’m not interested in working. I can tell you I’m into oil and trade, but that is not my truth. It was my truth before, trying to figure out how to tell the world what I do. So, I’m giving them my truth — I’m a rich man’s son and I’m living my life from January to January. I’m having fun.”

Kiddwaya added that marriage would not change his lifestyle, noting that he would only marry a woman who shares his love for enjoyment.

However, he maintained that he “works hard” to protect his integrity and family name by staying out of scandals.

“Many people in my position would have misused these privileges. I work hard to maintain my reputation and my family’s name,” he stated.
