Odumodublvck: America Better for Blacks Than Africa

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has stirred social media debate after asserting that black-on-black injustice in Africa poses a greater problem than racism in America.

Speaking in a recent interview with BET, the Declan Rice crooner argued that, despite the history of racism in the United States, the country has become a more conducive environment for black people compared to Africa — a continent predominantly led and populated by black people.

His comments have since triggered mixed reactions online. While some Nigerians agreed with his perspective on systemic inequality and leadership failure in Africa, others accused him of downplaying the racial injustices that black communities continue to endure in the West.

Critics argued that comparing both experiences was unfair, given their different historical and social contexts, while supporters said his statement reflected the harsh realities of corruption and oppression within African systems.
