Atiku Hails Hilda Baci on Guinness World Record Feat

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has congratulated Nigerian chef Hilda Baci on her latest recognition by Guinness World Records.

Hilda was officially certified on Monday for preparing the world’s largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice — a dish weighing 8,780 kilograms — during a record-breaking cookout at Eko Hotel, Lagos, last Friday.

In a post on his X handle on Tuesday, Atiku commended both Hilda and her partners, writing:
“Congratulations to Hilda Baci and Gino for setting a new world record with the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice. It is yet another reminder that our people can break records, set standards, and inspire the world.”
