BBNaija 10 Drama: Thelma Lawson Talks Rift with Isabella
Recently evicted Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Thelma Lawson, has opened up about why her expected friendship with fellow contestant Isabella failed to materialize.
Thelma, who left the show on Saturday night alongside Bright Morgan in a surprise double eviction, said the rift stemmed from her pre-existing friendship with Kayinkunmi, another housemate.
According to her, Isabella mistook her closeness with Kayinkunmi for romance and began to see her as a threat.
“It’s unfortunate Isabella and I never really became friends. I genuinely looked forward to connecting with her… But things changed because Kayinkunmi, who is my friend outside the house, was also in the game,” she explained.
Thelma added that the tension escalated when she chose Kayinkunmi as her deputy during her Head of House tenure, a move Isabella reportedly reacted badly to.
She clarified that she kept her bond with Kayinkunmi private to avoid being used for “highlights.”

“Unfortunately, by the time Isabella realized there was nothing between us, the damage had already been done,” she said.
Thelma concluded that she had hoped for a genuine friendship but the misunderstanding created an irreparable rift during their time in the house.
