I never trolled Wizkid — Tiwa Savage
Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has dismissed claims that she once trolled her Grammy-winning colleague, Wizkid.
Rumors of a fallout between the two resurfaced after a Wizkid fan pledged support for Savage, only for another user to argue that she had mocked the Starboy in the past and did not deserve such loyalty.
The debate led one fan to ask XAI’s Grok chatbot whether Tiwa had ever trolled Wizkid. The AI tool responded that there was no evidence to back the claim.
Reacting to the clarification, Savage wrote: “Thank you o, have never done that. But they have just ran with this narrative and I have just kept quiet.”
Speculation about the pair’s relationship dates back to 2018, when their chemistry in Wizkid’s hit track “Fever” music video sparked dating rumors. Both artists, however, publicly denied ever being romantically involved.
