Israel DMW Shades Wizkid Over ‘001’ Afrobeat Claim
Singer Davido’s logistics manager, Israel DMW, has thrown shades at Wizkid following the singer’s recent declaration of himself as the number one artiste in Nigeria.
Wizkid had stirred conversation online after posting on his Instagram story, referring to himself as “001” of the Nigerian music industry.
His claim comes amid the ongoing Afrobeats supremacy debate involving Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, with fans of each camp engaging in heated comparisons.
The debate intensified after singer Tiwa Savage waded in, labeling Davido as “001” and Burna Boy as “002.”

Reacting to Wizkid’s post in the comment section of a viral video, Israel DMW mocked the singer, suggesting that he should focus on releasing hit songs.
“Na by mouth? Drop gbedus shit,” Israel wrote.
Wizkid is yet to respond to Israel DMW’s comment as the debate continues to dominate conversations on Nigerian social media.
