Leaked Tape? It Was a Bet, Says Tiwa Savage
Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage has revealed that her leaked sex tape, which went viral in 2021, was the result of a bet.
Speaking in a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, the singer said the video was recorded by her then-boyfriend, who initially claimed it was leaked by accident.
“I actually did that with my boyfriend. He said he accidentally pressed send when he was trying to save it. But I later found out that it was a bet with his friends,” she disclosed.

The revelation comes four years after the video surfaced online. At the time, Tiwa said she had refused to pay off a blackmailer who threatened to release the clip.
