Niniola Denies Secret Marriage Rumors

Popular Nigerian singer Niniola Apata has addressed ongoing rumours suggesting that she is secretly married.

Speculations had circulated that the “Maradona” crooner’s reduced public appearances were due to her alleged marriage.

Speaking in a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos, Niniola dismissed the claims, making it clear that she is not married and has nothing to hide.

“I don’t care whatever anyone does or says [regarding my personal life]. After all, I’m not a 12-year-old. I’m old enough to say whatever it is I want to say with my full chest. I’m not married,” she said.

The 38-year-old singer also debunked suggestions that she was keeping her marital status private to protect her career or bookings.

When asked why she hasn’t collaborated with her younger sister and fellow singer Teni, Niniola explained that such a project would happen only when the timing and circumstances are right.

“Music is business,” she added. “There’s no family in business.”
