Odumodublvck Calls Nigerian Politics a Mess
Nigerian rapper and singer Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has shared his candid thoughts on Nigeria’s political system, describing it as “shambolic” and deeply flawed.
Speaking on a recent episode of the BET Talks podcast, the Declan Rice hitmaker said that power in Nigeria — as in many parts of the world — often corrupts, regardless of a leader’s original intentions.
“Politics in Nigeria is a shambolic scene, like everywhere else in the world,” Odumodublvck said. “When you give a man power, it rarely goes as planned. If he’s bad, bad people will make him worse. And if he’s good, bad people will try to contaminate the good.”
The rapper also criticized the tendency of Nigerians to place all blame for the country’s problems on the President, arguing that accountability should extend to other elected officials.

“Nigerians have been so brainwashed that when there’s a problem, the first thing they do is blame the President,” he continued. “We forget that we also have local chairmen, councillors, and senators who are supposed to represent us. They should be held accountable too.”
Odumodublvck’s remarks have sparked renewed conversations about political awareness and the importance of shared responsibility across all levels of government.
