Rudeboy Fights Back: Legal Threat to X User

Singer Paul Okoye — known professionally as Rudeboy of the duo P-Square — has threatened legal action after a social media user accused him of misconduct involving a domestic worker.

The row erupted after photos from the 25th birthday party of Rudeboy’s wife, Ivy Ifeoma, circulated on X (formerly Twitter). One user, @Zoyabloms, poked fun at the couple’s age gap, and another account, @darkskinnedtemi, amplified the thread with more hostile commentary. The controversy escalated when @chubbiedivah alleged Rudeboy had been involved with a housemaid and claimed the staffer was underage, further accusing him of removing his then-wife and sister-in-law from their home after the matter was raised.

Rudeboy’s supporters flagged the posts to him, and he responded angrily, vowing to locate the poster and pursue legal redress. In a message directed at @chubbiedivah he warned he would use “every necessary means, power, resources and money” to hold the account to account and said the matter would be used as an example. Shortly after his reply, the accused account deactivated both its X and Instagram profiles.
