Ruger Says Touring Ruined His Love Life

Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has opened up about how his busy touring schedule has taken a toll on his personal life — especially his relationships.

In a post shared on his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Sunday, the Asiwaju crooner admitted that constant travel has strained his love life and limited his time with family.

“Being on the road has really affected my love life,” he wrote. “It actually got worse after I went back to my black hair and low cut because the ladies have been rushing me nonstop. But honestly, I just want to settle down soon.”

Ruger went on to reveal that his demanding performance calendar has also kept him away from home, saying he rarely gets to see his loved ones.

“I hardly even see my family these days,” he added. “Trust me, I’m the most booked artist in this country. Fans around the world want to see me perform — they want that Ruger energy every month.”
