Singer Seyi Shay Cautions Against Dismissing Men

Popular Nigerian singer Seyi Shay has highlighted the critical role of a father figure in the upbringing of girls, noting that women who grow up with strong paternal guidance tend to be more stable and grounded.

Speaking on a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, the music star said, “Most women who have a father figure in their lives are generally more stable. They had a lot more access to good education and good morals growing up than the ones that don’t.

“Also, there is a bar when they want to get married or when they choose male friends. All these narratives that men are not important is bullsh*t because that’s just an agenda for more divisions in our homes so that we can churn out more broken souls and more lost females and males.”
