Tacha Blasts Creators Over Lagos Infrastructure Criticism

Former Big Brother Naija star and media personality, Tacha, has criticised content creators for repeatedly mocking the infrastructure of Lagos State.

In a post on her X handle, Tacha accused them of hypocrisy, arguing that they single out Lagos while ignoring challenges in their own states.

“All these content creators! Everyday Lagos state Lagos state! One will think ‘Lagos state’ is the only state in Nigeria. Oyah post ‘highbrow’ area in your own state and you’ll be nowhere to be found. Doubt you even know who your local govt chairman is,” she wrote while reacting to a viral video on poor drainage in a highbrow Lagos neighbourhood.

Her remarks come amid recent controversies sparked by NYSC member Ushie Uguamaye (Raye), influencer Scott Iguma, and comedian Acapella, who claimed that Lagos “smells.”

Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, dismissed those claims, alleging that some individuals were bent on tarnishing the image of the state.
