Uzor Arukwe Advises Ladies: Build Yourself Before Marrying Rich
Popular Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has urged single women to focus on self-development and personal growth before aspiring to marry wealthy and supportive men.
The actor shared this advice while reacting to the buzz surrounding his portrayal of Odogwu, a compassionate billionaire lover, in the movie Love In Every World 2. The character has been widely praised on social media, with many users describing him as the ideal man.
Arukwe noted that Chioma, the billionaire’s love interest in the film—played by Bambam—was already an accomplished and industrious woman before Odogwu began supporting her.
He explained that the character’s success and independence made her naturally appealing, and Odogwu didn’t need to question her value in their relationship.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Arukwe wrote:

“While we are basking in our delulu, it’s important to remember that Odogwu saw Chioma as a valuable woman before throwing his full weight to support her. He didn’t even need to ask what she brings to the table because it was clear she’s an industrious woman. So as a woman, build value for yourself first, and your Odogwu will locate you to become your helpmate that makes everything easier to handle.”
Arukwe emphasized that value attracts value, advising women to invest in their personal growth so that meaningful and supportive relationships will naturally follow.
