Zic Saloma Shares Struggles That Led to Nose Surgery

Popular Nigerian comedian and skit maker Zic Saloma has opened up about his decision to undergo nose surgery, sharing that the move was driven by years of personal insecurity about his looks.

In a candid video posted on his Instagram page, Zic Saloma explained that he had lost several entertainment opportunities in the past due to his appearance. This, he said, pushed him to opt for cosmetic surgery to boost his confidence.

“I decided to undergo nose surgery because I wasn’t comfortable with my appearance. I had lost several job opportunities in the past because of how I looked. If you can afford cosmetic surgery, do it. If it will make you feel better, go for it,” he said.

The skit maker revealed that he underwent rhinoplasty in Turkey, a procedure that lasted over four hours and also included a facelift and eye rejuvenation.

Although the full procedure cost about $11,000, Zic Saloma clarified that he didn’t pay for it directly as it was part of a collaboration deal with the hospital.

He noted that the surgery has significantly boosted his self-esteem, making him feel more confident and ready to explore bigger opportunities in the industry.

Zic Saloma, who is famous for his multi-character skits and unique comedic style, also encouraged others to consider safe cosmetic procedures if it helps improve their self-image and confidence.
